Your Side of The Story

What is your story? What is your message? These are the questions I asked but a few of the 800 youth in Ottawa who don’t have a place to call home. Their answers come in the form of artwork, words, and poetry to communicate the harrowing accounts of connection, loss, addiction, survival, and resilience found on the streets. Over the course of a year I have captured but a small sliver of their realities, yet what I found is that at our darkest hour and on the fringes of society is where we often find humanity at its crescendo
